2009 Scholarship Winners Announced 

AXA Achievement has awarded $17.5 million in scholarships to more than 3,600 students since it launched in 2003, making AXA Equitable one of the nation’s largest corporate providers of scholarships.

Gold Award for Public Policy Campaigns 
The AXA Foundation is the recipient of the Gold Award for Public Policy Campaigns in the Council on Foundation’s 2009 Excellence in Communications program.

The Foundation won for its ongoing series of AXA Achievementsm advertorials appearing in U.S. News & World Report, educating the public on critical issues related to financing a college education. 

In the award announcement, Council President & CEO Steve Gunderson hailed the work as “a model of excellence for other grantmakers.”
