AXA Foundation

AXA Day of Service

Every year AXA people nationwide participate in an AXA Day of Service volunteer project.

AXA  offices in communities across the country donate time and energy to local nonprofit organizations. Volunteer projects focus on youth achievement/education - aligning with our national philanthropic program, AXA Achievement - and on the growing area of environmental sustainability. The broad range of activities has included tutoring, job shadowing, information sessions for teens and their parents on how to pay for college, restoration of local parks and recycling programs.

AXA Partners worked at the Farmington Land Trust, clearing branches, removing rocks and raking paths to create a needed trail.

Financial professionals from the Central Illinois Branch held a “Big for a Day” program  at Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and worked one-on-one with children on life skills.

The AXA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of AXA Equitable, awards grants to the charitable organizations where the volunteer events take place. View the list of nonprofit organizations that participated in 2012 AXA Day of Service activities.
