Financial Protection and Wealth Management
This business area develops, markets, distributes and services our life insurance products. This area includes the AXA Advisors sales force, Service Operations, Product Development, AXA Advisors broker-dealer and AXA Network.

This area is organized around two divisions – Employer Sponsored and Individual Annuity. Each division brings together sales, business development, product and service capabilities to better anticipate and respond to market needs in our two key market segments.
The Employer Sponsored division is focused on the 401(k) and tax-sheltered annuity (i.e., 403(b) and 457) markets. The Individual Annuity division is dedicated to the distribution of the innovative line of variable annuity products issued by AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company to third party professional financial intermediaries as well as to our AXA Advisors sales associates.

Strategic Shared Services
This area provides integrated services and solutions to all of our business organizations. It encompasses Information Technology, Central Marketing, Innovation and Communications, External Affairs, Corporate Strategy and Business Development, Legal and Compliance, and Funds Management Group.

It includes Actuarial, Controllers, Sourcing and Procurement, Derivatives, Distribution Finance, Expense Management, Internal Audit, OCIO/Treasurers, Risk Management and Tax.

This area designs and manages programs that enable our business organizations to support and engage their people, attract top talent and develop future leaders. It fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace that enriches our workforce and helps us to achieve our business strategy.
Areas include Talent Management, Learning and Development, Compensation and Benefits, Office of Diversity, Relationship Management, Employee Relations, Recruiting and Mobility, and HR Strategy, Operations and Communications.
