Career Growth

Professional development is an ongoing commitment at AXA Equitable. Everyone has annual goal setting, mid- and year-end reviews with their managers. These help position our people for success.
As you become established in your role, you’ll be encouraged to seek development opportunities. At times, your manager will provide guidance, but you’re encouraged to reach out for regular coaching and feedback. This can help you get the most from learning resources such as e-learning, mentoring programs and instructor-led courses. You’ll gain access to other programs, like tuition reimbursement and leadership development training as you achieve your performance goals. These provide experience and knowledge that can help advance you in your current job or grow into new roles.
Plus, there are a lot of informal ways for you to learn new skills and discover interests and talents you never thought you had. For example, joining an Employee Resource Group (ERG) or cross-functional work team can provide growth experiences that your job responsibilities don’t offer.
International Experience
As you advance in the company, your responsibilities will increase with more interesting assignments and activities. You’ll also gain access to development opportunities that can take you almost anywhere—in one building or on a different continent.
A short- or long-term international assignment with an AXA Group company can broaden your professional background as you experience life in a foreign country. Short-term assignments can last three months to a year, and long-term assignments can be one to three years. Sometimes, individuals can be selected to go overseas. This happens when their skills and experience make them a good fit for an assignment.
