Protecting Your AXA Account

You have selected AXA to help you reach your financial goals.  This is a responsibility that we take very seriously.  As a leader in the financial services industry, we are committed to protecting our clients’ accounts and contracts.  To ensure accuracy in the management of your accounts and contracts and to provide you with timely information about them, we send various communications to you throughout the year, including:

  • Trade confirmations reflect information such as the amount of any security purchased or sold, the price paid or received for the security and any commissions or fees charged to you in connection with the transaction.
  • Statements – your statement (which, depending on the product, is sent monthly, quarterly, or annually) shows all account activity since your last statement and includes information such as the value of your account at the end of the most recent period, the account value at the beginning of the period, account fees, transfers of funds, etc.
  • Confirmation letters confirm certain instructions you have given us.  Examples can include: mailing address changes to your account or contract , updates to your investment objectives or instructions from you concerning the payment of funds and/or the transfer of securities to a third party.

If you have any questions about these communications, if any information on a communication you receive is incorrect, or if you are unfamiliar with a transaction, you should contact your Financial Professional, the Branch Manager of the AXA office where your account is held or at the Service Center listed on your statement.

More Tips to Help You Protect Your Account

  • Be sure to review your confirmations and statements promptly for accuracy.
  • Our address of record for you is where we send you important confidential information about your accounts and contracts - this should be your address.  If you wish to have duplicate confirmations or statements sent to someone you trust, such as an accountant, attorney or a family member, we can arrange this for you.
  • You should never be asked to make a payment directly to an AXA Financial Professional or other employee for the purchase of an investment through AXA – for brokerage business, payment should be made to “LPL Financial” (the clearing agent for AXA Advisors);  for variable annuity and insurance business, checks should be made payable to “AXA-Equitable”, “MONY” or “MLOA” as applicable.

We value our relationship with you as a client and are committed to protecting your confidential personal and financial information. Going forward, we will continue to look for ways to serve you better.  Please do not hesitate to contact your AXA Financial Professional, the Branch Manager of the office servicing your AXA account or the Service Center listed on your statement if you have any additional questions.
