Richard S. Dziadzio
Richard S. Dziadzio is Chief Financial Officer of AXA Financial, Inc. Mr. Dziadzio has responsibility for all actuarial, investment, and risk management functions, as well as the controller, tax, expense management and corporate real estate, corporate sourcing and procurement, and distribution finance areas.
Mr. Dziadzio has been with AXA Group since 1994, working in both Paris and the U.S. He initially served as a senior analyst in the corporate finance department in Paris, working primarily on mergers and acquisitions. In 1997, he was promoted to corporate finance officer. In this role, he handled corporate finance activities for the group in insurance and asset management in the U.S. and U.K.
In 1998, Mr. Dziadzio became head of finance and administration for AXA Real Estate Investment Managers (AXA REIM). He was involved in the creation of the holding structure, integration of subsidiaries from other AXA companies, sales of non-core activities, and the launch of the company's first closed-ended funds. He also became a member of AXA REIM's executive steering committee.
From February 2001 to June 2004, Mr. Dziadzio was responsible for business support and development for AXA Financial, AllianceBernstein, and AXA Investment Managers. In this role, he provided business support, coordinated AXA Group programs, and participated in special projects. During this time, he was a board member of AXA Financial, AllianceBernstein, AXA Investment Managers, AXA Rosenberg, and AXA REIM.
Mr. Dziadzio joined AXA Financial in July 2004, and was elected Executive Vice President of AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company in September 2004. He became Executive Vice President and Deputy Chief Financial Officer of AXA Financial and AXA Equitable in September 2005. In addition, he is a member of the company's Executive Management Committee, and a director of AllianceBernstein.
Mr. Dziadzio received a Bachelors of Science degree in economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
