NowPlanSM Employee Education Program
NowPlanSM, our needs-based employee education program is designed to drive action and change participant behavior. The goal is to empower employees with knowledge and information to help them achieve a well-planned, fully-funded retirement.
- Proactive, customized approach keeps participants focused on progress toward retirement funding goals.
- In-depth guides help employees match appropriate investment options to their savings goals and risk profile.
- Multiple platforms enable employees to take action at their own pace and whenever their situations and goals change.
The centerpiece of our personalized educational support is SmartPlan, an interactive multi-media series that allows participants to decide when and how they are ready to learn and take action.
Education Consultants and financial professionals can meet with participants at different stages of their retirement continuum. For those nearing retirement, a review of the plan’s comprehensive distribution options can help pre-retirees determine those best suited for their situations. Post-retirees will benefit from guidance on such issues as managing assets for income and cash needs during retirement.
1 The target date is the approximate date when investors plan to start withdrawing their money. The principal value of the portfolios is not guaranteed at any time, including at the target date.
2 You will incur higher costs with the asset allocation portfolios than if you were to invest directly in the underlying investment portfolios.
3 Guarantees are based on the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company.
4 AXA Equitable does not guarantee the principal amount of, or the rate of interest on, Stable Value Fund investments or the credit-worthiness of any issuers of securities or contracts purchased by the Stable Value Fund.
5 Rebalancing does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining market.
Please consider the charges, risks, expenses, and investment objectives carefully before purchasing a variable annuity. For a prospectus containing this and other information, please click on links above or contact a financial professional. Read it carefully before you invest or send money.
A group variable annuity is a long-term financial product designed for retirement purposes. In essence, a group variable annuity is a contractual agreement in which payment(s) are made on behalf of retirement plan participants to an insurance company, which agrees to pay out an income or a lump sum amount at a later date to those participants. There are contract limitations and fees and charges associated with group variable annuities, which include, but are not limited to, administrative fees and charges for investment management. Withdrawals from annuities are subject to normal income tax treatment and, if taken prior to 591/2, may be subject to an additional 10% federal income tax penalty.
Because an annuity contract would be used to fund this qualified employer-sponsored retirement arrangement, you should purchase the annuity contract for its features and benefits other than tax deferral. For such cases, tax deferral is not an additional benefit of the annuity. You may also want to consider the relative features, benefits and costs of this annuity with any other investment that you may have in connection with your retirement plan or arrangement.
