Jennifer L. Blevins Joins AXA Financial As Executive VP In Charge Of Human Resources
New York, NY -- Jennifer L. Blevins has joined AXA Financial, Inc., as Executive Vice President in charge of Human Resources, effective Jan. 2, 2002. The announcement was made today by Christopher "Kip" Condron, President and CEO of AXA Financial. She will report directly to Mr. Condron.
Ms. Blevins has assumed responsibility for all Human Resources functions, including compensation, benefits, recruiting, training, employee relations, HR operations, HR management information systems and HR communications.
"Based on her achievements both domestically and internationally in the financial services industry, I am confident that Jennifer will make significant contributions in further aligning the HR function with our strategic business and growth initiatives," Mr. Condron said. "She has clearly demonstrated the critically important management and leadership skills we need."
Ms. Blevins brings extensive human resources experience in financial services to her new role. She joins AXA Financial from Chubb & Son, where she was most recently Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Worldwide Human Resources. Earlier, she served as Senior Vice President, European Human Resources, for Chubb Insurance Company of Europe. While with Chubb in Europe, she served as Secretary of the corporation’s International Advisory Board and as a member of the Conference Board of Europe’s Human Resources Council.
Previously, she held human resources positions for First Interstate Bank of California, Los Angeles, and First Chicago.
Ms. Blevins graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She resides in Glen Ridge, New Jersey.
