Five AXA Financial Insurance Companies Relax Premium-Payment 

Grace Period to Assist Those Impacted by the Recent Tornadoes in Alabama

Five AXA Financial, Inc. insurance companies are relaxing the premium-payment grace period for policyholders affected by the tornadoes in the counties declared as disaster areas by the state of Alabama. Details follow below. The five companies are:

  1. AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company (formerly known as The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the U.S.)
  1. AXA Life and Annuity Company (formerly The Equitable of Colorado, Inc.)
  2. MONY Life Insurance Company
  3. MONY Life Insurance Company of America
  4. U.S. Financial Life Insurance Company

The companies listed above have extended the grace period for payment of premiums associated with life, health and disability income policies due on or after April 27, 2011 to May 27, 2011.

All claims that occur from the tornadoes will be given prompt attention. On an individual claim basis, every effort will be made to limit the needed requirements to expedite the disbursement of funds.

All policyholders of the five companies listed above are advised to contact their financial professional or call the following toll-free number for expedited customer service:
