Internal Resources
Managing your 403(b) plan in-house means you're assuming compliance-monitoring responsibility -- administering all employee requests for distributions, loans and tax-free transfers of account values, and ensuring that all transactions comply with the final 403(b) regulations.
AXA Equitable offers a number of resources to help you handle these reponsibilities:
Plan document and support services. We offer a detailed compliance manual containing a Service Provider/Hold Harmless Agreement (which includes provisions for information sharing), a sample annual meaningful notice, a compliance checklist, and other valuable reference materials. (A compliance manual is currently available only for public schools. One will soon be available for non-profit employers.) These documents are available on this site as well.
Employee communications. From account statements and online account access to enrollment assistance and individual annual reviews, we offer comprehensive employee communications that keep your employees informed and ensure they continue to work toward their retirement goals.
We also offer enrollment assistance which can help satisfy the annual meaningful notice requirement under your 403(b) plan's universal availability rules. While annual enrollments are the minimum required by the 403(b) regulations, more frequent opportunities to enroll or change contributions are beneficial to employees because they let employees respond to their changing financial needs. And your AXA Equitable financial professional is always available for one-on-one annual reviews and to discuss your employees' retirement investing needs.
Online data access. Our Employer Plan Administration Center (EPAC), offers you a wealth of information to help you administer your plan more efficiently. With EPAC, you can:
- View plan information,
- Get detailed reports on a range of topics, including contributions, loan and distribution activity, participants’ employment status and required minimum distributions,
- Track deferral limits,
- View employees’ year-to-date and total contributions, rollovers, transfers and exchanges, and
- Access and share employee data.
Your account information is available 24 hours day. To register for EPAC, email EV.Collections@axa-equitable.com or call (800) 628-6673, press 2, and ask to speak to the EPAC technical support representative. You will need to provide your AXA Equitable unit number, organization name, and the name and telephone number of the person who will be the EPAC contact.
